Event Description
TAAOM will be hosting an Advocacy Day at the Texas State Capitol. The objective of the event is to educate lawmakers, staff and public about the role of licensed acupuncturists. We will focus on promoting public health, patient safety, and integrative care in Texas. This exposure will provide an opportunity for TAAOM members to meet with legislators, share professional expertise, advocate for improvements to the Texas Acupuncture Law. Our goal is to ensure fair regulation of the profession, protect patient access and strengthen the quality of care across the state.
